Call to Order and Pledge of Allegiance

Roll Call

Approval of Minutes from the March 5, 2007 Council meeting.

Public Comments on any action to be taken on Agenda items.

Approval of semi-monthly bills.  

Treasurer’s Report (2nd monthly meeting).

Discussion of the hiring process for the City.  In the future any recommendation by a committee to fill a vacated position or to hire a new departmental employee would require Council action before the position is advertised.  Mayor Punke

Recommendation from the Budget Committee to approve the proposed FY Year 07-08 Budget for a total expenditures of $4,022,265.  Mr. Chambliss

Recommendation from the Planning Commission to approve the final plat for the Crown Pointe Subdivision as presented, with the full knowledge that the State could require a turn lane to be constructed in the future and that the cost would be paid by the City.  In addition there was a bill submitted by Senator Dale Risinger to appropriate funds to pay for the turn lane if it is required within the next twenty years.  Mr. Hinnen
