		Call to Order and Pledge of Allegiance   Roll Call   Approval of Minutes from the August 20, 2007 Council meeting.   Public Comments on any action to be taken on Agenda items.   Approval of semi-monthly bills.   Treasurer’s Report (2nd monthly meeting).    Recommendation from the Administration Committee to approve Ordinance 07-14 amending the Eureka Municipal Code Title 1 “General Provisions” – General Penalty.  The Ordinance will set an exact amount for all penalties throughout the Eureka Municipal Code in any Title or Section which allows a range for penalties.  i.e. twenty-five dollars to five-hundred dollars.  Currently the Police Department can not write a ticket unless there is a set amount.  Mr. Meares   Recommendation from the Administration Committee to approve the change to the recycling program with the elimination of glass and reducing the contract by $1,000 annually.  Roger Miller is having a problem with disposing of the glass and would like to eliminate glass as part of the recycling program and reduce the contract by one-thousand ($1,000) dollars. The current contract is eight-thousand ($8,000) and would be reduced to seven-thousand ($7,000).  Mr. Meares   Recommendation from the Administration Committee to accept the Annexation Petition from Craig Gerdes and approve the Annexation Agreement to annex the parcel “Tract JD-1” at the Knolls.  Mr. Meares   Recommendation from the Administration Committee to approve the Annexation Agreement to annex park ground.  Mr. Meares   Recommendation from the Public Safety Committee to approve two additional stops signs at the corner of Oak Drive and Dennis Drive making this a four-way stop at the intersection.  Mr. Punke   Consideration of Mayor’s Proclamation P-07-05 proclaiming the month of September as Save a Life Month in the City of Eureka.  Mayor Punke   Committee Reports.      Budget Committee – Mr. Waters      Administration and Personnel Committee - Mr. Meares      Enterprise Committee – Mr. Hinnen      Maintenance – Mr. Waters      Public Safety – Mr. Punke      Park & Recreation Committee – Mr. Hinnen      Economic Development & Tourism – Mr. Kupfer      Liquor Commission – Mayor Punke      Communication Committee – Mrs. Hinthorne   New business to come before the council.   Public comments or Questions.   Adjournment
