Consideration of Annexation Ordinance 07-13 annexing the parcel “Tract JD-1” at the Knolls owned by Craig Gerdes. A Public Hearing was held August 17, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. Mr. Meares

Recommendation from the Park Committee to approve the City’s participation in the Intergovernmental Agreement with Congerville and Goodfield to establish the position of Director of Recreational Programs. The proposed percent of participation for each community is seventy percent for Eureka, fifteen percent for both Congerville and Goodfield. The approximate annual cost to the City will be $26,800. Consideration of Resolution R-07-10 “Safe Kids Walk This Way”. A resolution supporting the enforcement of the local and State laws in school zones. The resolution will be a part of the City’s commitment to safety for our children and adults and will be included in the Grant application for the school zone flashing lights to be submitted by the Safe kids walk this way task force. Consideration of the Mayor’s Proclamation P-07-05 proclaiming the month of October 2007 as “Walk This Way For Safe Kids” month and October 3rd as “National Walk to School Day” in Eureka. Mayor Punke
