MINUTES OF THE EUREKA CITY PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION
September 20, 2007

 

The meeting was called to order by Chairman Mick Simenc at 7:10 p.m.  Present were, Cuffe, Hinnen, Wertz, Knepp and Mayor Punke.

 

The minutes were moved for approval by Cuffe second by Hinnen.  All voted yes.

 

The Commission reviewed the Special Use section of the Zoning Code.  Changes were made in 17.56 – Purpose (C.)  “Necessary or desirable” were removed and changed to read “requested by”.  Also after the first sentence in (C) “As deemed and determined by the Planning Commission as further defined in 17.63” was added.

 

17.64 Standards (H) “wind generating power device” was added after antennae in the first sentence. After (e.) – the letter (f.) was added to read “Those aesthetic considerations which bear substantially on the economic and social aspect of the community.”

 

Under I. Zero Lot Line – “Development” was deleted. Under number (5.) – (g.) was added to read “Fire walls shall have been constructed according to the latest addition of the International Boca building code for zero lot line approval”.

 

Under (8) – (a) was added to read Zero lot line division will require each unit to have a side yard, front yard and rear yard.

 

The meeting was adjourned at 8:30 by Chairman Mick Simenc.
