MINUTES OF THE EUREKA CITY PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION
December 17, 2009

The meeting was called to order by Chairman Mick Simenc. Present were Wertz, Hinnen, Knepp and Cuffe. Also present were Curt, Dennis and Don Litwiller and Tony Dowiatt.

The minutes of the November 19, 2009 meeting were moved for approval as written by Cuffe, second Hinnen. All voted yes.

The final plat for the Lakeview Section 15 was considered by the Planning Commission. The plat as presented with construction drawing showing an 8 inch water main will be redrawn. The plans will be resubmitted showing the subdivision with a 6 inch water line as approved by the Enterprise Committee to keep the service lines in Lakeview Subdivision all uniform as there are now 6 inch lines serving the Lakeview area. Lot 17 which adjoins Lot 1 was provided 10 feet off of this subdivision and was sold to Dennis Garey. Dennis Garey will be required to have a plat drawn to show the 10 feet combined with his current lot to make this one parcel. The commission questioned the drainage for the subdivision which crosses Lot 9, 8, and 7. There is a drainage easement shown in Plat Book 43, Page 62. This drains to the small lake off of Mitchell. It was moved by Hinnen and second by Wertz to accept the final plat for Lakeview Section 15 as presented and to send the plat to the council for approval. All voted yes.

It was moved by Knepp and second by Cuffe to adjourned.
