The April Meeting was held at Maple Lawn Homes with 14 in attendance. The meeting was called to order at 8:00 a.m. The minutes of the last meeting were accepted for filing. Treasury balance is $10,360.26
4th of July – Bryant Ruder has started the process – will need volunteers on that day.
Lilac Festival – April 29th, Dana said Kiwanis will have pancake& sausage breakfast, Rotary will have porkchops.
Liquor license for Rocco’s Submitted.
April 24th planters will be delivered.
Permits for Left turn lanes at business park approved.
EPA has approved cleaning of Rivinius.
Wheel-a-vator is moving in est. employees: 40-50.
Dale Klaus from Tri-County Planning Commission wants to talk about ring road.
Chuck Staley asked about business park & when it will be done – Jim said bids are out – Chuck mentioned a business wants to go in.
Heidi mentioned 2 people are using EBA Business Promotion inserts in the newspaper. Duane S. said Jim Klaus is working on structure for signs & has 2 bids for EBA signs. Eldon authorized Duane to spend up to $460 to do the sign, Bryant seconded the motion.
