The June Meeting was held at Maple Lawn Homes with 10 in attendance. The meeting was called to order at 8:00 a.m. The minutes of the last meeting were accepted for filing. Treasury balance is $9,572.60
Committee Reports:
Kyle shared information on what is happening in the greater Peoria region, grant monies available to our community. He mentioned Woodford County is 2nd fastest growing county in the state. Revolving Loan fund has $700,000 in it. They can loan up to $10,000 for every job you can create at 5% interest. There was talk of creating a Woodford County chamber of commerce.
City:
In process of getting permits for turn lane.
College development moving along.
Water projects moving along.
Skateboard project waiting to pour concrete.
New Police cars in.
Old Business:
Marge asked about skateboard park & did we donate to it? She made a motion to donate $500 to their fund, Mark 2nd the motion, motion passed.
New Business:
Mentioned they are building a new building at 4-H Park and asked that we consider donation to building in memory of Elaine Smillie.
