The July Meeting was held at Maple Lawn Homes with 10 in attendance. The meeting was called to order at 8:00 a.m. The minutes of the last meeting were accepted for filing. Treasury balance is $8,272.28

Approval from IDOT for left turn lane on business park was received.
Water project continues to progress.
Skateboard Park – slab is poured.
Trees downtown will soon be replaced.
Old Business
Discussed Flag Program with Boy Scouts,
Lou March said that we had agreed to pay for 10
flags and asked that we continue to support at that amount. Chuck asked that we contribute to the
“Welcome to Eureka” signs. Motion was made by Mark Scott to give $250 and seconded by Chad Martin.
Business Spotlight
J. Davis Arnold Ph.D. gave a great talk on Eureka College- it’s plans for development – Student enrollment & Retention – College update of facilities – Weekend College for people who want to complete 4 year Degree.

Round table discussion was held on expanding EBA membership & making it more effective in the community.
