City of Eureka electrical aggregation

The City of Eureka has aggregated again with several cities in the region to bring our residents the best price available on electricity.  You have recently received a letter explaining that the new electricity supplier is Energy Harbor.  This letter is legitimate and authorized by the City of Eureka.  Its purpose is to provide you with notice of the change in supplier and to offer you an opportunity to opt out if you choose to negotiate your own pricing from another vendor.  We offer the caveat to read any contract very carefully for early termination fees and other pricing limitations should you negotiate on your own.   Otherwise, no action is needed.  You can direct any questions to Melissa Brown at 309-467-2113.
